Kilduff considering future with Hoops

CIARAN KILDUFF wore Cork City colours yesterday as his goalscoring achievements in October were honoured but the in-form striker has no idea whose shirt he'll be pulling on next year.

The imposing front man was named Airtricity/SWAI Player of the Month after starring on Leeside following his loan move from Shamrock Rovers, which has now come to an end.

Kilduff's impressive form caused a stir amongst many Hoops supporters, who feel he should have been given more opportunities under Trevor Croly.

While he has the height of respect for Croly, Kilduff (above) shares that sentiment.

"I have a lot of talking to do with Shamrock Rovers. I had to go out on loan to play this season and, for me, that summed up a lot," he said.

"I'm not bitter towards Rovers but I'm just saying that, on purely football grounds, I don't know if I could go back there and see myself in the same position as I was this year."
