ANDY KEOGH'S miserable season has taken another turn for the worse after a second loan stint was curtailed prematurely due to injury, with Bristol City manager Keith Millen confirming he has no intention of making a permanent move for the Irish international in the summer anyway.
The Dubliner has gone back to Wolves for treatment on a back problem, another setback in a campaign that started with an intended season-long loan at Cardiff.
A shortage of opportunities brought that experiment to an end, so Bristol City was the next step for the 24-year-old. Yet he has struggled to get a regular run there as well, and is now in limbo.
He could go back to Bristol for the end of this season, but Millen won't be making a permanent offer in the summer. "When you look at the types of forwards we've got, he's quite similar," he said. "I'm looking to get a balance."
