Jamie Carragher reignites Danny Simpson feud with humorous tweet
Jamie Carragher has reignited his feud with Leicester defender Danny Simpson.
Carragher and Simpson were involved in a cyber war of words earlier this year following the departure of title-winning boss Claudio Ranieri. Former Liverpool defender Carragher suggested that the Leicester players should hang their heads in shame for the role they played in the Italian's departure.
This prompted Simpson to tweet to Carragher, saying: "I have won the league and you haven't."
And after Simpson posted a picture to Twitter of Carragher wearing an Everton training top, comparing him to Sky colleague Gary Neville, the row was re-ignited with former Carragher pointing out how Simpson and his teammates had suspiciously started making an effort again following Ranieri's dismissal.
Carragher re-opened old wounds today when he shared a picture of himself holding a snake and said: "Finally get my hands on @dannysimpson."
