Twitter lauds Harry Arter as Irish footballer set for Premier League next season with Bournemouth
Martin O'Neill is set for another Premier League player to keep tabs on next season as Bournemouth effectively sealed their promotion to the top flight tonight with a 3-0 win over 10-man Bolton Wanderers tonight.
Watford were crowned Championship champions at the weekend and the Cherries defeated Wanderes with 2-0 with goals from Marc Pugh and Matt Richie in the first half and Callum Wilson after the break. Three points leave the club the brink of promotion to the Premier League as they are three points clear of Middlesbrough with a game left to play. With a 19 goals separating the two in goal difference, manager Eddie Howe is close to a historic season for the Championship outfit.
One player at the heart of their successful campaign is Harry Arter. The 25-year-old midfielder was called into O'Neill's squad for the UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying game against Poland.
Arter played for the Republic of Ireland under-17 and under-19 teams, being eligible through his Sligo-born grandparents and many on twitter tonight were quick to praise the underage international.
