"Sing your hearts out because believe you me the players will leave nothing in that dressing room" - That's the message coming from the Ireland camp ahead of tonight's crunch World Cup qualifier against Demark.

Martin O'Neill's men go into the second leg at Lansdowne Road locked at 0-0 following Saturday night's stalemate in Copenhagen and have a real chance of qualifying for their first World Cup since 2002.

The Ireland kitman Dick Redmond, who famously dressed up as Superman and danced around the Irish dressing room when we beat Bosnia and qualified for Euro 2016, has sounded the battle cry ahead of tonight's showdown.

"Sing ur hearts out tonight because believe you me the players will leave nothing in that dressing room. Every last ounce of energy will be spilt on that pitch tonight. These players believe. We believe. You believe. Come on Ireland," tweeted Redmond.

Redmond's feelings were were echoed all cross social media.

"Let's get right behind the boys tonight and make it another special night @AVIVAStadium . Good luck @FAIreland !  Let's get to #Russia2018WorldCup     .. #COYBIG #IREDEN," added Kevin Kilbane.️
