Manchester United’s team doctor informs Mick McCarthy that Roy Keane will not be with the Irish squad for Niall Quinn’s testimonial. Keane heads to France for treatment, seeing a specialist recommended by Laurent Blanc. Keane admits his knee, hip and back “are ropey”.
