FAI secures more tickets for World Cup play-off away leg in Denmark Newsdesk Newsdesk

There was good news for Irish fans planning to travel to Copenhagen next month for Ireland's World Cup play-off first leg against Denmark.

The FAI confirmed today that they have received 455 extra tickets for the fixture on top of the mandatory 5pc allocation..

A statement today read: "The Football Association of Ireland can confirm that it has secured 2,305 tickets for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifying Play-Off First Leg between Denmark and Republic of Ireland on Saturday, November 11 in Copenhagen.

"An additional 445 tickets have been secured, which add to the 5% allocation permitted to visiting teams for competitive games per FIFA rules.

"Applications for the game in Copenhagen's Parken Stadium must be submitted by 5pm on Monday, October 23 via"
