Sam, a Blanchardstown native, had the brainwave on his way to work one morning.

"I saw on the internet that Three's #SupportWorks campaign was calling on fans to show their support for the team and I just decided to do my bit to show the Boys in Green how much they mean to ordinary people like me," he said.

"They have given us so many great memories... I think it is important that we all show our support ahead of the qualifiers."

Three has teamed up with Sam's Barbers to offer free football inspired haircuts in their Ormonde Street barbershop this Friday.

Customers should call Sam on (01) 8747500 to book their haircut on avoid disappointment.

Three are the primary sponsors of the Irish national team. For more information, visit: www.three.ie
