Another legend of Irish football is joining the world of punditry

There is a massive void in Irish football analysis now that John Giles will be leaving the RTE football panel, and recently retired members of the national team look to be trying to fill it.

Damien Duff has impressed in recent appearances on the state broadcaster, and not to be outdone by their rival station, TV3 have announced a big signing to join their stable of pundits.

Richard Dunne, who was a rock at the centre of the Irish defence for almost ten years, will be on the TV3 panel for this Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final second leg between Man City and PSG.

Given how comically awful the defending was in the first leg earlier this week, Dunne should have plenty to analyse.

It will be like a Republic of Ireland 2004 reunion in the studio on Tuesday, with Kevin Kilbane and Brian Kerr also set to appear.
