Football rumours from the media
Summer moves for Jamaal Lascelles and Malcom feature in the Friday papers.
Sergio Aguero has scored 143 goals for Manchester City since his move from Atletico Madrid in 2011, but now the LaLiga side are mulling a move to bring the striker back, the Daily Mail reports. With rumours suggesting that Antoine Griezmann may leave Atletico in the summer, the club are looking to Aguero to fill the potential gap, the paper reports.
What the papers say
Wayne Rooney may have reportedly agreed a “deal in principle” to join Major League Soccer side DC United, but the striker wants to stay at Everton, the Mirror reports, but the 32-year-old has been told he does not feature in manager Sam Allardyce’s future plans.
Meanwhile, Jamaal Lascelles could be arriving at Goodison in the summer, according to the Mirror. The paper says that Everton are lining up a move for the £25million man, but will have to compete with Chelsea and Tottenham.
Malcom has been lighting up Ligue 1 for Bordeaux, and has now caught the attention of Liverpool who could be tempted to make a move for the £40m-rated winger in the summer, according to the Daily Mail.
Juventus are to offer Chelsea £15m to take Alvaro Morata on loan with a view to making the move permanent, the Express reports. Morata, 25, played for Juve between 2014 and 2016 with the Italian club keen to boost their firepower.
