Football rumours from the media
WHAT THE PAPERS SAY
Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Atletico Madrid striker ANTOINE GRIEZMANN, according to the Sun.
The France international has reportedly been a long-time target for United and the Sun says they have agreed to pay him £280,000 per week on a five-year deal. They are expected to meet his £89million buy-out clause.
While that is positive news for Jose Mourinho, he has received a setback elsewhere, with the Guardian reporting that Monaco have turned down a £72million bid for star forward KYLIAN MBAPPE.
The 18-year-old has taken Europe by storm this season and the Ligue 1 side are holding out for a fee of £100million.
One player who could be leaving Old Trafford is LUKE SHAW, with the Manchester Evening News claiming he could be set to head to Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola's side are favourites to end Shaw's stay at United, with Tottenham also reportedly interested.
Another left-back who could be on the move is Southampton's RYAN BERTRAND, according to the Daily Mirror.
Bertrand is attracting the interest of both Liverpool and Chelsea and is ready to turn his back on the Saints.
The Mirror is also reporting that Bayern Munich are stepping up their pursuit of ALEXIS SANCHEZ, with the Arsenal star's agent meeting the German club for talks.
Sanchez's future is in doubt as he has yet to sign a new contract at the Emirates and Bayern are ready to swoop.
