Martin O’Neill has recalled Jon Walters to his starting line-up for the play-off second leg against Bosnia, but there is no place for John O’Shea.

Both players missed the first leg in Zenica through suspension, but the Stoke City man comes back into the side in the only change from the 1-1 draw.

Stephen Ward is the man to miss out, with Friday night’s goal scorer Robbie Brady to start at left-back.

O’Neill sticks with Richard Keogh and Ciaran Clark at the heart of the defence which means there is no place for O’Shea.

Daryl Murphy will continue to lead the attack while Jeff Hendrick also retains his place despite rumours he may be sacrificed after an indifferent performance in the first leg.
