The FAI have confirmed that UEFA are to make 6,502 more tickets available to Irish supporters for Euro 2016.

The tickets have already been received by the association. They are to be unevenly distributed between Ireland's three Group E games against Sweden, Belgium and Italy.

The combined aggregate of tickets now available to Irish supporters is 35,502. A total of 275,000 ticket applications from Ireland to UEFA's online portal were recorded, and those successful applicants will be informed by February 29 at the latest.

On top of this extra allocation, the Association will receive a further 2,000 tickets for each game from UEFA which will be held for loyal fans who miss out in the original allocation.

New allocation for Ireland supporters

Ireland v Sweden: 16,087 (13,000 + 3,087)

Belgium v Ireland: 7,095 (6,000 + 1,095)

Italy v Ireland: 9,320 (7,000 + 2,320)
