Euro 2012: Poznan prepares as first of Irish camper vans expected to hit town this evening
ALL eyes are on the approach roads to Poznan today, as the first of the vans are expected to hit town.
Tomasz Lanski from the Euro 2012 office in city hall says there may be some police checkpoints on the German border, and at petrol stations around Poznan.
The final touches are being put to the fan zone in the city centre and 2FM's Hector broadcast from here this morning.
The Irish contingent swelled with late arrivals last night, although some newcomers were a bit puzzled when they hit The Dubliner bar to find a Polish stand up-comedy night on.
It is a nice 17 degrees in Poznan, for a Polish bank holiday.
And even though it's a holy day, the bars are still all open.
