After a weekend of incredible fan violence between English and Russian supporters, it looks the the Irish have finally succumbed to the temptation of fighting amongst each other.

Thankfully, the supporters in this video are merely having a bit of craic on TV rather than engaging in a full-scale brawl. In contrast to the scenes in Marseille, Irish fans have behaved impeccably since arriving in France, focusing on fun rather than fights.

Video: Germany boss Jogi Low is getting a lot of slagging for this unhygienic sideline act

Those two things combined to great effect on RTE last night, with one supporter getting 'knocked out' by a friend right behind presenter Daire O'Brien. Somehow we think that the fan will have recovered for Ireland's Euro 2016 opener against Sweden in the Stade de France this evening.
