REVEALED: Here is the 23-man Ireland squad heading to Euro 2016
Martin O'Neill has named his 23-man Ireland squad for the European Championships in France.
Among the unlucky players who missed out were goalkeeper David Forde, midfielders Darron Gibson and Eunan O'Kane and striker David McGoldrick.
Forde was tipped by many to be included ahead of Keiren Westwood but the Sheffield Wednesday man showed great form during the Owls' playoff campaign, which looks to have swayed Martin O'Neill.
Robbie Keane was included despite worries about his fitness while Harry Arter was left out after leaving the squad with an injury earlier today.
Aiden McGeady was another whose position had been under threat but O'Neill has kept faith with the midfielder.
Striker Daryl Murphy was included despite going another game without a goal, taking his scoreless run at international level to 20 caps.
Ireland start their Euro 2016 campaign against Sweden in Paris on June 13th, before facing Belgium in Bordeaux on June 18th and finishing in Lille against Italy on June 22nd.
Here is the full squad:
Goalkeepers: Darren Randolph, Shay Given, Keiren Westwood.

Midfielders: Glenn Whelan, James McCarthy, Jeff Hendrick, Wes Hoolahan, James McClean, Aiden McGeady, Stephen Quinn, David Meyler.
