People couldn't get over Roy Keane's chokehold celebration with Robbie Brady
When the final whistle blew to confirm Ireland's memorable Euro 2016 victory over Italy, there were tears, hugs, backslaps - and a chokehold.
While the players and most of the coaches opted for the first three, Ireland's assistant manager revelled in the team's brilliant win in a typically intense way.
Moments after embracing Gianluigi Buffon in a touching moment between the two teams, Roy Keane pulled goal hero Robbie Brady close, grabbing him by the throat amid the wild celebrations.
As with everything Keane does, his Homer Simpson-esque reaction to Ireland's win didn't go unnoticed, with people having fun with it on social media.
Many wondered what he would have done to Brady had the midfielder headed wide, but it is also worth pondering what celebration Keane may pull out of his arsenal if Ireland secure a historic win against France to move onto the Euro 2016 quarter-final on Sunday.

There's perhaps only one man who would celebrate such a victory by playfully throttling one of his players... pic.twitter.com/nsPJ08TySF— Owen Gibson (@owen_g) June 22, 2016
