Iceland defender responds to 'untrue' story that reflects very badly on Harry Kane's intelligence

It seems that if you stick any old rubbish next to a picture of somebody on Twitter, people will believe that that person said it.

People appear to be very gullible online, with today providing us with another example.
Much like in the other cases, a picture was going around on Twitter of Iceland defender Kari Arnason next to a set of quotes which didn't reflect well on the England team.

Joe Hart and Harry Kane come off particularly badly in the 'quotes'.
The comments attributed to Kane seem too ridiculous too be true - turns out they aren't. Arnason has taken to Twitter to rubbish these remarks, saying that they are false and that the England players were actually gracious in defeat.
Maybe a day will come when an outrageous set of quotes pasted onto a picture of someone will turn out to be real - until then, it is best to just presume that it is complete and utter nonsense.
