Video: Robbie Brady's emotional brother was so stunned last night that he forgot how to bless himself Newsdesk Newsdesk

It was all too much for Robbie Brady's brother Cian, and you couldn't blame him for being overwhelmed.

Not only was he a witness to one of Irish football's greatest goals, but as his brother Darren howled with emotion and delight, Ireland's hero ran over to their section to embrace his family.

Cian also had somebody on his shoulders, so it is no surprise that his head was all over the place when he went to bless himself after Brady's deft nod snatched Ireland a 1-0 win.

Robbie Brady sheds tears with his family before proclaiming goal as 'best feeling in the world'

We'd guess that he hasn't gone to mass in a few weeks though, because his 'In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit' technique is a bit off.

He should get plenty more chances to practice when Ireland face France in the last 16 this Sunday, and hopefully his brother can perform even more heroics in Lyon at the weekend.
