Kieron Dyer has become QPR’s second signing of the day after penning a one-year deal at Loftus Road.
Rangers announced the signing of former Cardiff striker Jay Bothroyd this morning and manager Neil Warnock has now added 32-year-old midfielder Dyer to the newly-promoted side’s ranks.
Dyer has been beset by injuries in recent years and was released by relegated West Ham at the end of last season, but he has now been given another chance to shine in the Barclays Premier League by Rangers.
“I’m just delighted to be here,” he told the club’s official website, www.qpr.co.uk. “QPR are an ambitious club and when I sat down with Neil and he explained the vision for the club – specifically the hunger and the determination of the squad – I just wanted to be part of it. He totally sold the club to me.
“I’ve got something to prove after the couple of years I’ve had, but I feel good and I’m really looking forward to playing my part next season.”
