The Dublin District Schoolboys' League will aim to clinch a third SFAI Kennedy Cup crown in a row today when they face Mayo in the final at Limerick University (3.30pm).

The champions cruised past Longford 5-0 in yesterday's semi-final, racking up a four-goal lead by the break.

Longford, conquerors of Cork and Galway as they attempted to reach a first-ever decider at the U-14 tournament, had their resistance broken by Kevin Zefi's strike.

Justin Ferizaj connected with a corner to add a second before another Shamrock Rovers player, Sam Curtis, made it 3-0 from the penalty spot. Giddeon Tetteh bundled in the fourth before Divine Izekor completed the rout late on.

Carlow had given Mayo a sterner test in the earlier semi-final, holding them scoreless until the break.

Daniel Kelly broke the deadlock before his Westport United team-mate Adam Nugent added a second at the death to consolidate a 2-0 victory for the Connacht side.

In today's other finals, Waterford will meet Galway to decide the Plate prize (12.30), Limerick face Cork for the Bowl (11.30), Donegal and Dundalk battle it out for the Shield (11.0) and Limerick County meet West Waterford/East Cork in the trophy decider (10.30am).
