It's been a bad week for Brazil's David Luiz... so bad that the merciless Roy Keane is even feeling sorry for him.

After being destroyed by Luis Suarez twice during last week's 3-1 defeat in Paris, things went from bad to worse for the Brazilian international as he was left all at sea for Neymar's goal last night which helped Barca ease to a 5-1 win.

During his half time analysis on ITV last night, the Republic of Ireland assistant manager looked upset about Luiz's struggles despite the fact that he was a £50m summer signing from Chelsea.

"I actually feel sorry for him. He just looks lost, again we spoke about him before the game. Doesn’t smell danger and the stuff there is literally schoolboy stuff," he said.

"You’ve got to give the boy sympathy, a little bit. Because he doesn’t look like he knows what he’s doing."
