Rangers waiting on Broadfoot

Kirk Broadfoot faces a late fitness test to determine whether he will be available for Rangers' Champions League match against Manchester United tomorrow.

The full-back is still a doubt with an ankle injury he sustained while on international duty, although Steven Whittaker has been passed fit after suffering a calf knock while also with the Scotland team.

Manager Walter Smith has no other injury concerns ahead of the European opener at Old Trafford tomorrow night, although Nikica Jelavic is ineligible for the competition.

Provisional squad: McGregor, Weir, Broadfoot, Papac, Edu, Davis, Lafferty, Naismith, Beattie, Bougherra, Alexander, McCulloch, Miller, Weiss, Little, Hutton, Whittaker, McMillan.
