Furious Klose rages at Lazio's facist fans

Lazio striker Miroslav Klose has distanced himself from a banner showing Nazi symbols that was unveild by his own supporters during last week's 2-1 win over bitter rivals Roma.

The sign, displayed throughout the Roman derby, read 'Klose Mit Uns', which translates to 'Klose is with us', but also included fascist symbolism, in which the letter 's' was twice made to resemble the SS abbreviation of the Nazi party's paramilitary arm.

"I'm furious," Klose said while speaking to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport.' "Politics should stay out of the stadium."

Given the club's previous fascist controversies, the request by Klose -- who was born in Poland -- may well fall on deaf ears.
