Montpellier v Arsenal, tomorrow, Stade de la Mosson
Arsenal's Champions League hopes received a further boost after tomorrow's opponents, the French champions Montpellier, continued their poor start with a 3-1 defeat at newcomers Reims on Saturday. Diego put the seal on a fine move to put the hosts ahead shortly before half-time, only for Montpellier to level through Remy Cabella early in the second. Christopher Glombard and substitute Gaaetan Courtet secured the points to leave Montpellier in the bottom five in Ligue 1.
Manchester United v Galatasaray, Wednesday, Old Trafford
Galatasaray warmed up for their Champions League trip to Old Trafford with a convincing 4-0 victory at Antalyaspor to remain a point clear at the top of the Super Lig. Fatih Terim's side went ahead through former Bolton striker Johan Elmander after 10 minutes before Nordin Amrabat added a second before the interval. The hosts were reduced to 10 men before goals from Burak Yilmaz and Umut Bulut secured the points for the defending champions.
Chelsea v Juventus, Wednesday, Stamford Bridge
Juventus will travel to London for their Champions League trip to Chelsea with another three points under their belts after a late turnaround gave them a 3-1 Serie A victory at Genoa yesterday. Ciro Immobile gave the home side the interval lead, firing past Gianluigi Buffon after 18 minutes following a one-two with Andrea Bertolacci.
Juve were fortunate not to fall further behind before the break, but recovered in the second half, goals from Emanuele Giaccherini , Mirko Vucinic (above) and Kwadwo Asamoah, from the penalty spot, giving the defending champions three wins from three league matches this season. They have now gone 42 league matches without defeat.
