Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be a frustrated spectator as his team-mates strive to win the Champions League final against Real Madrid last this month, but he has ensured one of the club's most devoted young fans will enjoy the night of a lifetime after handing him tickets for the biggest game in European football.

Oxlade-Chamberlain will miss the final after undergoing surgery on a knee injury sustained in the semi-final win against Roma, with his hopes of playing for England in this summer's World Cup finals also shattered by that injury blow.

Despite his personal heartache, Oxlade-Chamberlain had made a dream come true for young Liverpool fan Bobbi Jagger, who he first met when he handed him his jersey after the Champions League quarter-final win against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
