Celtic's Hooper set for switch to QPR
Celtic have accepted a bid for striker Gary Hooper from QPR. Essex-born Hooper could now be on his way to Loftus Road after making clear his intentions to return to England.
Norwich and Hull both had offers for the 25-year-old turned down earlier this year. Hooper has scored 82 goals in three years at Celtic Park but has resisted attempts to extend his contract beyond next summer.
Hooper came off the bench against Cliftonville on Tuesday as Celtic eased into the third qualifying round of the Champions League with a 2-0 win at Parkhead. But the former Southend player, who joined Celtic from Scunthorpe in a £2.4m deal, is returning south as he bids to win England recognition.
