Butcher fumes

The SPL kicks off this weekend a couple of weeks earlier than usual, with the Scottish authorities moving -- in part -- to try and help the performances of their clubs in Europe.

They have suffered some pretty dismal results at the early stages in recent years, but not all managers are satisfied with the move. "Maybe the directors and chairmen were consulted, but we certainly weren't," said Inverness manager, Terry Butcher.
