Boss quits Dundalk
BY EOIN DUNNE THE turmoil at Dundalk continued on Saturday night when manager Jim Gannon resigned from his post after a scoreless home draw with Cobh Ramblers.
It is the third recent resignation at the First Division club as chief executive Sean Connolly and vice chairman Tom Baldwin both stepped down last week.
Gannon was believed to have been unhappy with a statement given in the wake of the directors' resignations, but it has emerged that he has become director of Stockport County's centre of excellence for girls, which he took up last Monday.
It is thought that the club's board was unaware of the appointment and are shocked at Gannon's exit. Tommy Connolly will take over as caretaker boss for the season's last match.
