10-match premier league accumulator – 13,814/1

THERE have been 37 games played by each team so there's little excuse not to know what was going to happen yesterday.

Chelsea had the momentum to take into their game against Everton; QPR have been dreadful so a trip to Anfield wasn't going to finish with anything but a defeat.

Manchester City have been in turmoil, so losing to Norwich, who were 9/1, wasn't entirely unlikely; Arsenal have been on a phenomenal run so were justifiably favourites against Newcastle.

Southampton and Stoke had nothing to play for so a relatively easy draw was on the cards, while Fulham had a point to prove against Swansea, who seem to have taken their feet off the gas after winning the League Cup.

Spurs also needed to beat Sunderland so their odds-on price was expected; Manchester United and West Brom like to attack and, on a day of celebration for Alex Ferguson at the Hawthorns, there was always the chance of a draw.

West Ham needed to beat Reading to guarantee themselves a top-10 place, while the anti-climax of Wigan and Aston Villa meant there was a good chance of the draw which ensued to complete a 10-match accumulator that would send you into the summer with a nice holiday fund and a talent for clairvoyance.
