Baggies kitman takes the Mickey
West Bromwich Albion's kitman says he is considering sending the team out for their next match against Chelsea wearing Mickey Mouse ears, following Jonas Olsson's row with Jose Mourinho in the Stamford Bridge tunnel last Saturday.
Mourinho described Olsson as a "Mickey Mouse player" during a furious exchange with the West Brom defender, which sparked a mass confrontation between the two sets of players.
Kitman Pat Frost, who was one of those in the tunnel, joked via Twitter yesterday: "Gonna see if I can get 20 sets of big Mickey Mouse ears and ask the lads to wear them in the warm-up when Chelsea come to us."
It emerged today that neither Mourinho nor any of the players will face any action from the English FA because the incident was not seen by the match officials.
Mourinho made the remark to Olsson after a stream of expletives from the Sweden international, and the pair then had to be pulled apart by stewards.
The Chelsea manager has already been punished this season – he was fined £8,000 for improper conduct after his side's 4-1 win over Cardiff last month.
Meanwhile, Chelsea midfielder Ramires says he has no interest in joining Real Madrid. (© Daily Telegraph, London)
