Yaya Toure’s outspoken agent Dmitry Selyuk has claimed his client wants to join one of Manchester City’s Premier League rivals and claimed he will accept a wage of just £1-a-week next season.

Following Toure’s explosive interview with France Football on Monday suggesting Pep Guardiola edged him out of his plans at Manchester City partly because he ‘has a problem with African players’, Selyuk has stated that veteran Ivory Coast midfielder is keen to prove he can still have an impact in the Premier League at the age of 35.

Selyuk, who famously criticised Manchester City for not giving Toure a birthday cake in 2014, has now offered up some more inflammatory comments in an interview with Sport24.

“Yaya has many offers from different countries, where they are ready to pay a lot of money, but we decided to dedicate the next season to Guardiola and to prove and show the fans of Manchester City that Yaya has not finished with football,” said Selyuk.

“He is full of energy and wants to play this season in England. At a time when huge sums are being spent in England for the purchase of football players, I officially declare that Yaya is ready to move as a free agent to any English club of the top six with a salary of one-pound-a-week, but with a bonus system based on certain successes

“I believe that a player like Yaya would not reject Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool. Yaya is a winner and never before has a top footballer with leadership qualities rejected any club, especially when they don’t have to pay for it.”

Selyuk went on to claim Guardiola will have a curse placed on his by African witch doctors (shamans), as he suggesting calling the Spaniard was ‘an enemy to man’ in a pretty remarkable outburst.

“The fact that Guardiola ended Yaya’s career in Manchester City is not even a mistake, but a crime, but the boomerang will return, Pep,” he added.

“You will still see what the African shamans are. Remember this always. In the “Benfica” already there is the curse of coach Bela Guttmann, after which the team loses all the European Cup finals. And Guardiola will beat this record, despite the money injected into him.

“You know, Guardiola cannot be called a dog because the dog is a good being, a friend of man and Guardiola is by nature a man’s enemy.”
