Barcelona defender Adriano will be out for three weeks after suffering a leg injury during yesterday's match against Celta Vigo, the Catalan club have announced.
The Brazilian was substituted seven minutes before half-time after scoring the opening goal in the Primera Division runners-up's 3-1 victory at the Nou Camp.
The club then confirmed Adriano had sustained an injury to the adductor muscle in his right leg, thus forcing him to sit on the sidelines for approximately three weeks.
It gives coach Tito Vilanova a further headache in defence with Carles Puyol and Gerard Pique still out with injuries, although the pair are back in training.
It poses a problem ahead of Barca's trip to Glasgow to face Celtic on Wednesday in the Champions League with a tough, physical match in store for the Spanish champions.
