2 After being named European Footballer of the Year in December of 2004, Shevchenko was awarded the title Hero of Ukraine by former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma.

3 He became Milan's second all-time goalscorer, behind legend Gunnar Nordahl, after scoring against Treviso on 8 February 2006. He left the Italian giants with 157 goals under his belt.

4 He is a close friend of Giorgio Armani, and Sheva has strolled the catwalk wearing a suit for the Italian stylist. Shevchenko and Giorgio have opened two Armani stores together in Kiev.
