Shay Given remaining coy on possible Ireland return
Shay Given was giving very little away after Roy Keane's appearance at Middlesborough's 1-0 win over Charlton at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday reignited rumours that the Donegal could be about to make an international return.
"If Roy's watching me, great, but I've not spoken to him or [manager] Martin O'Neill. Their next competitive game is in September - a way off," the 37-year-old told BBC.
Given has kept five clean sheets in his last six games and is enjoying life on Teeside.
"I'm just delighted to be back playing. All I'm concentrating on is playing for Middlesbrough," he added.
"Defensively we've been great, but it's not just me, it's the whole team defending as a unit.
"In the Championship, you have to grind results out and we're doing that well."
