Before the Rugby World Cup kicks off at Twickenham on Friday, we ask you for your tournament prediction.

Ireland are fifth favourites (9/1) behind Australia (8/1), South  Africa (6/1) and hosts England (9/2) while the bookies ultimately believe New Zealand will take the Webb Ellis trophy –  priced at 5/4.

Ireland’ s past record in the competition hasn’t been ideal, having failed to ever reach beyond the quarter-final stages.

Joe Schmidt’s side, which won two Six Nations since New Zealand 2011, have had less success than most fans might like in their World Cup warm-up matches.

Despite this, the Ireland boss has pointed to the positives in the wake of these defeats, exposing areas that need to be improved upon.

We ask will you go with the bookies favourite or will you trust in Schmidt's side?
