Video: Paddy Power erect brilliant fist-pumping statue of Paul O'Connell in Cardiff

As Irish fans flooded into Cardiff ahead of today’s World Cup quarter-final with Argentina, they were greeted by an imposing statue of fallen captain Paul O’Connell.

Bookmakers Paddy Power erected a huge replica of the great man outside one of their offices, which those dressed in green have flocked to as if it were a shrine.

The immortal words "let’s put the fear of God in them" are etched into the staute.
