Clubs benefit for fifth year in IRFU's fundraising draw
The IRFU's 'Your Club Your Country Grand Draw' will be on offer to clubs for a fifth year.
The initiative has already raised over €2.5m for clubs across the country and is expected to build on last year's figure of €650,000.
The fundraising scheme is backed by Ulster Bank, title sponsors of the All-Ireland leagues, and it allows clubs to sell up to 1,000 tickets at €10 per ticket and retain all the ticket sales revenue.
The IRFU along with its partners will again provide the prizes for the draw and clubs are advised to register now for the 'Your Club Your Country Grand Draw' by contacting the union. Once registered, clubs will receive draw packs which will contain promotional posters and the grand draw tickets. All sold and unsold tickets must be returned to the IRFU before 5.0pm on November 4 with the draw to take place on November 16.
Commenting on the importance of the fundraising scheme, IRFU president Martin O'Sullivan said: "It is great to see that the 'Your Club Your Country Grand Draw' is continuing to assist clubs in their fundraising initiatives.
"Special mention must also go to Ulster Bank for their continuing support of the draw and for their ongoing investment."
