THE Portarlington women's rugby team were put through their paces by Ireland international Rob Kearney yesterday.
Still recovering from Ireland's bruising defeat against England at the weekend, Mr Kearney gave the players a day to remember.
The Co Laois team won the top prize after entering the National Dairy Council's Milk It For All It's Worth competition.
Starting at 10.30am and running right through until 4pm, the Irish full-back ensured they tackled a number of intricate drills and exercise routines.
"We practised a couple of attacking and passing drills.
"Rob gave us some great advice on our line-out technique.
"Some of the girls gave him a bit of ribbing over the game at the weekend, but we made sure not to overdo it," said club secretary Fiona McCann.
