It is not a good idea to question the rugby legacy of Brian O'Driscoll on Twitter.

Ireland's record tryscorer got involved in a very entertaining Twitter conversation last night after he was tagged in a post about Cory Hill being re-appointed at the captain of the Dragons.

Hill was part of the 'Geography Six', six players called up by Lions boss Warren Gatland to act as injury cover for the Lions, and in response to Gatland's decision, O'Driscoll claimed he didn't know who Hill was.

He responded to last night's tweet with a light-hearted post.

Some trolls decided to get involved,

One Twitter user suggesting that O'Driscoll was 'the most overrated player ever' which drew a response from BOD.

The Grand Slam winner, three-time Heineken Cup winner and four times Lions tourist had plenty of back-up on Twitter as Ireland fans gave their two cents.

Former England star Austin Healy, who got a few thumps from O'Driscoll after he had made fun of Ronan O'Gara over the infamous Duncan McCrae incident, chimed in today and was also put in his place.
