The Ulster faithful have paid homage to Anthony Foley with a beautiful rendition of the 'Fields of Athenry' tonight at the Kingspan Stadium.

As a mark of respect to the late Munster head coach and Heineken Cup winning captain, a minute's silence was impeccably observed ahead of the game with the Exeter Chiefs.

As the game kicked off, the Ulster fans spontaneously burst into song and gave a stirring rendition of the anthem adopted by Munster during their European exploits at the start if the decade.

Reacting on BT Sport, Irish legend Brian O'Driscoll said: "Spine-tingling stuff. It's hard not to get emotional."
