Marcus Hanan and Ben Moxham will make their debuts for the Ireland U20s against Wales in Irish Independent Park on Friday night (KO7.15, RTE2).

Leinster loose-head Hanan has been asked to shore up the scrummaging deficiencies that were undermined by Scotland

Ulster wing Moxham will replace his provincial colleague Ethan Mcilroy, who has not been able to prove his fitness.

Other than that, it is as-you-were with David McCann wearing the armband.

"We got things started on a positive note on Friday night in Cork and now that we are up and running in the Championship, we are looking forward to improving upon that performance," said coach Noel McNamara.

"This Friday night presents a new challenge against Wales. The players have worked hard during the week with the emphasis very much on ourselves and building towards this week's game.

"We are excited about getting out and performing in front of our supportive and enthusiastic home crowd at Irish Independent Park."
