The Champions Cup pool stage is over and the Six Nations is on the horizon but this is the time of year when Irish rugby fans can also take a look at the next generation of stars.

The four provincial schools rugby competitions are getting underway at the moment and to mark the start of the cup rugby season, Tony Ward stopped by for a special schools rugby edition of The Left Wing along with Luke Fitzgerald.

The duo reminisce about Luke's cup debut, the important of striking a balance between competition and enjoyment and also look ahead to what 2017 has in store for schools rugby.
