Still some places up for grabs? Lions coach Warren Gatland turns up at Dublin secondary school

THE Lions coach Warren Gatland accompanied Ireland captain Jamie Heaslip on a visit to St Michael’s College in Dublin today.

Heaslip, who will be hoping to secure a spot on the plane to Australia later this year, was given a talk to students at the school.

St Michael’s, who were defending champions, lost to Blackrock in the finall of the Leinster Schools Senior Cup on St Patrick’s Day.

Gatland attended Ireland training sessions earlier this month, as a number of players including Brian O’Driscoll, Rob Kearney, Cian Healy, Rory Best and Jonny Sexton hope to wear the famous red shirt this summer.
