Wales' George North celebrates scoring their first try

Wales are certainly up for the fight against Ireland tonight in Cardiff - but should their first-half try have counted?

George North drove over to score the only try of the first half as Wales took an 8-3 lead into the break.

But, as spotted by Independent.ie reader Diarmuid Colfer, there seemed to be a forward pass in the build up to North's score when

Rhys Webb offloaded to Scott Williams.

It was that pivotal moment that started the move for North to score but should it have counted?
