Ireland lock Devin Toner says Saturday is another game in a season of firsts for club and country.
After cementing his place in the Leinster second row, Toner has nailed down an international starting spot since Joe Schmidt took over and is looking forward to his first ever game at England’s rugby HQ.
“It’s really been a season of firsts for me and I have never played at Twickenham before,” he said today.
While he has never experienced an atmosphere of 70,000 supporters against his side before, it is a challenge he is relishing.
“We will have to shut out the atmosphere,” he added.
Toner has made 12 appearances since making his international bow in 2010, the last seven as a starter, and will hope that it will be a lucky 13th appearance on Saturday afternoon.
