Ireland look set to be without Robbie Henshaw, Dan Leavy and Joey Carbery for their penultimate Six Nations game against France.

Despite assembling the squad at their Kildare base on Monday night, Joe Schmidt will delay releasing a list of names until tomorrow. It is expected that Kieran Marmion will return to the squad.

According to the IRFU, Henshaw is struggling with a dead leg he suffered against England. A union statement said the centre is "improving more slowly than hoped".

Leavy has been out with a calf problem since playing for Leinster against Connacht before Christmas.

Carbery damaged his hamstring in the lead in to the Italy game and is "being managed across the early part of the week" according to the union.

Andrew Conway, however, has "fully recovered" from the "cramp" he picked up against Italy.
