Alan Quinlan has included ten English players in his Six Nations team of the week after Eddie Jones' side blew Ireland away at the Aviva Stadium.

Joe Schmidt's men entered the game as strong favourites, both to win the contest and to defend their Six Nations title, but left with their trophy hopes in tatters after a ruthless performance from the visitors.

England got the better of Irish players all over the field, with Quinlan rewarded the effort by selecting ten of their star men in his team of the week on the Six Nations website.

There is an even split of English backs and forwards in the team, with Scotland getting three players into the side while Wales have two.

None of the defeated teams have anyone included, with Joe Schmidt's side coming up empty handed.
