Lievremont sticks with winning formula

Marc Lievremont has named an unchanged squad for France's Grand Slam bid against England on Saturday night.

The French coach will take the same 23 men who led Les Bleus to a 46-20 win over Italy into the game at Stade de France.

"The players did well against Wales and Italy," said Lievremont. "This group is equipped to beat the English. I think the players are fresh and fit."

Meanwhile, Lions trio Ryan Jones, Mike Phillips and Gethin Jenkins have given Wales a triple fitness boost before Saturday's home game against Italy.

Coach Warren Gatland said that they will be considered for selection for the Millennium Stadium match after passing fitness tests. They all missed Saturday's 27-12 defeat at Croke Park.

Captain and No 8 Jones had a minor calf problem; scrum-half Phillips picked up a knee niggle on his return from a serious ankle injury; and prop Jenkins has shaken off a calf strain.
