Video: 'Sexton is a big lad and is well able to look after himself'
Sexton missed 12 weeks of rugby through concussion which he suffered following a tackle with French giant Mathieu Bastareaud and yesterday he was up against him again.
But despite suffering a nasty gash to the eye following a clash with the Frenchman, Sexton kicked five penalties and put in a man-of-the-match display for Joe Schmidt's Ireland.
And Murray says Sexton was not one bit fazed going into yesterday's Six nations clash at the Aviva.
"Johnny’s a big lad, he’s well able to look after himself," said Murray.
"He doesn't shy away from anything like that. If he heard that during the week it probably only revved him up a bit.
"To win against the French is always nice. We have a bit of stuff to look back on. Defensively, first and foremost, I though we did really well to hold them out," added Murray.
